In
"Northern Hospitality" Tommy Evans
paints a picture of Yorkshire from a light-hearted
yet authentic point of view… Smoothly doing
it with Tetley and displaying that no nonsense
John Smiths mind state… Giving us a peak at
established northern past times, such as whippet
racing, cricket, bingo, darts, and of course
that old favourite; wife swapping.From
girls who wear too little, to guys who drink
too much, Tommy delivers us a truly English
version of the Ludacris laced, Neptunes produced
club-banger "Southern Hospitality".
Always trying to supply a healthy balance realbeats
provides one tune guaranteed to tear up the
dance floors, and one for those times of contemplation…
This is supplied by >aRRO who takes us on
a journey through the eyes of an up and coming
emcee trying to make it in this game we call
Hip Hop. This takes the form of a reworking
of the UK classic "Trials of Life"
by the Guttersnypes. Originally released in
1994 this beat simply has to be heard by the
new generation of UK Hip Hop Fans.
Both tracks garnered significant radio play,
with Tommy Evans' northern anthem recieving
rotation on several BBC radio one shows.
Although we have sold out of this release you
may still be able to get hol dof a copy from
www.suspect-packages.com
We'd like to take the opportunity here to thank
both Tommy Evans & >aRRO for their contributions
to this release, much appreciated guys and good
luck for the future.
Originally the tracks were intended as a prelude
to the mix CD "The Remix is King"
- which was to feature more exclusives from
the cream of Hip Hop in the UK.. unfortunatley
due to unforseen personal issues Reality? had
to put this CD on the back burner, but the exclusives
gathered for this CD will still see the light
of day, and were more than well recieved when
Reality? & Doc Jnr tore up the air waves
on 1xtra in 2006.
