Having
taken a break from recording to concentrate
on DJ'ing and doing gigs Reality? returns to
the studio to bring you the Summer Anthem for
Hull in 2009.
The smoking ban came in.. Then the license laws
changed to allow bars to stay open later (hurting
the clubs in the process), and more and more
people are finding other ways to entertain themselves,
people socialise online instead of face to face,
so in recent years the clubbing scene in Hull
has changed beyond all recognition...
This song reminds us of what used to be, and
despite what we have lost; as it literally crumbles
around us (LA's, Marina, etc.), we still have
hope and we still have a lot of love for the
city called Hull aka H U Double.
